Dr. Kambey is the current chairman of the Indonesian Young Health Professionals’ Society (IYHPS), an organization consists of multiple health professions working to improve health outcomes and education system through promoting interprofessional education and collaborative practice. He is a medical doctor by profession in Indonesia and was formerly the Assistant Dean for the Bachelors Program in medicine. He then pursued further education in medical education at the University of Dundee (United Kingdom) and completed IPE training in Gunma University, Japan (WHO-CC for IPE Research and Training). In Indonesia, Dr. Kambey was involved in numerous local and national projects in health professions education. Currently, Daniel is a research student in the University of Tokyo while also recognized as an Associate Fellow of the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE). He is establishing the Indonesian National IPE Centre, as well as the Asia-Pacific Interprofessional Education and Collaboration (APIPEC) Network in the effort to connect IPE-IPCP champions in the region.
